Family Child Care CACFP Food Sponsor

Read our newsletter

CACFP checks will be mailed 9/9/10

Catholic Charities Maine Family Child Care is a sponsor of the USDA Child & Adult Care Food Program. This is a federally funded program that reimburses family child care providers for nutritious meals served to children.

Several of our employees were, at one time, childcare providers themselves, so we can easily relate to your needs and are willing to assist you in any way possible.

We know that the childcare provider’s job is a difficult one and would like to help make it a little easier.

Benefits of participating in the Family Child Care Nutrition Program:

  • Guaranteed reimbursement for food served to children - we will match all other sponsor rates
  • Direct deposit of monthy reimbursement
  • Free menus, attendance sheets and return envelopes are provided
  • Supportive in-home visits
  • Free record keeping calendars specifically made for child care providers
  • Caregiver Connection monthly newsletter
  • Toll free help line to professional support and advice
