Systems Engineering Funds a Second Telehealth Suite for Catholic Charities Maine’s Behavioral Health Network

November 1, 2023

Second telehealth suite in Brewer will further increase access to effective, coordinated treatment

Portland, ME – Systems Engineering, a 100% employee-owned security-focused IT services firm in Portland, Maine, has donated funding to help equip a second telehealth suite for Catholic Charities Maine (CCM) Behavioral Health Network (BHN), this time at the Brewer office.

CCM’s Behavioral Health Network provides comprehensive, multi-disciplinary services for individuals with a mental health diagnosis, substance use disorder, and/or behavioral disorder. With services in Portland, Fairfield, Augusta, Auburn, and Brewer, CCM’s BHN served more than 1,500 adults and children in 2022.

“Systems Engineering was instrumental in equipping our network with telehealth suite services in our Fairfield office. As Maine continues to experience a significant shortage of behavioral healthcare services, we are thrilled to partner with them to add a second suite in Brewer,” said Jeff Tiner, CCM’s chief clinical officer. “Systems Engineering’s expertise and generosity helps us provide a cost-effective solution for comprehensive, integrated care among one of the most vulnerable populations served by CCM,” said Tiner. “We are so grateful to our partners at Systems Engineering for this targeted funding.”

“Our employee-owners remain committed to supporting CCM's vital mental health services here in Maine.  The introduction of a second suite expands their telehealth offerings, effectively delivering crucial treatment and assistance to communities across our state,” Matt McGrath, CEO & President at Systems Engineering.
