Position description (brief): The Program Assistant Intern will support the Program Manager in key tasks related to client records and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain client records
- Assist with design and implementation of access and retention
- Gather and put together outcome data for government/grant reports
- Assist the Program Manager to develop, maintain, and complete various program projects such as formulas for measuring productivity, demographic updates, service outcomes, client satisfactions surveys, and retooling documents
Impact of opportunity: The Program Assistant Intern will support the mission of Catholic Charities Maine and Counseling Services to empower people with substance abuse, mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders to obtain stability and/or recovery and to improve wellbeing and functioning in their lives.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Current college student or recent graduate (counseling experience not necessary)
- Quick learner who is comfortable working with numbers and data
- Ability to start and complete a project with minimal supervision
- Solid computer skills and knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Maturity, initiative, dependability, interpersonal skills
Training Offered: Training for the internship will be provided as needed
Time Commitment/Schedule: Flexible
