Volunteer to help a senior who is in need of help and companionship in your neighborhood in York County area - especially the Kittery region!

Some tasks you might help with:

- Assist and support with general housekeeping tasks, and trash removal

- Organization

- Transportation for grocery shopping and errands

 

Qualifications and Skills Required: 

Compassionate, dependable, discreet, and flexible  

Good communication skills

General knowledge of cleaning & laundry

Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.

Transportation skills required - with a valid driver's license, insurance, inspection up to date,  and a clean driving record. However some volunteers may have alternative transportation options - and might not drive, but may still help. 

 

Training :

Catholic Charities Maine volunteer orientation & some agency trainings.
